Meet Pandeep Pal – NZTA Approved Driving Instructor

Pandeep Pal is an NZTA-approved driving instructor with an I Endorsement and over 18 years of commercial driving experience across Australia, India, and New Zealand. He holds valid driving licences from all three countries and brings a wealth of real-world driving knowledge to every lesson.

Originally from India, Pandeep speaks English, Hindi, and Punjabi fluently, making lessons comfortable and easy to understand for a wide range of learners.

Known for his calm, patient, and friendly teaching style, Pandeep creates a relaxed learning environment where students can build confidence at their own pace. He’ll never yell at you—haha! Instead, he focuses on clear guidance, constructive feedback, and helping every learner become a safe and confident driver.

Very helpful teaching, I came in not knowing about any mirror checks or techniques, and ended up passing my restricted test first try. Great for beginners and anyone trying to pass their driving test.

I highly recommend this driving instructor to anyone wanting to get their restricted licence in New Zealand. Over the last few sessions, he has been absolutely amazing — patient, encouraging, professional, and incredibly thorough in everything he teaches.

He explains things clearly, covers all the important road rules and test requirements, and makes sure you fully understand what you need to do to become a safe and confident driver. His calm and supportive approach really helped build my confidence behind the wheel.

What stood out most was how kind, understanding, and encouraging he was throughout the whole process. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and puts in the effort to help you get to the level you need to pass your test.

One of the best driving instructors I’ve had, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and supportive instructor.

Very nice, I started learning from JP Driving School and it has been a great experience so far. He explains everything clearly about how to drive and also points out where I make mistakes. Each and everything he teaches helps me understand how I can improve my driving.
I am still learning, but I can already see improvement. Very good experience, I am really happy and would highly recommend.
